We believe that those two senses of culture are closely interconnected and cannot be studied in isolation. Cultural Space began at Lund University in 2011 and has close ties to the Center for Cultural Sociology at Yale University, the cultural sociological research environment at Uppsala University, and the Swedish Sociological Association’s working group on Cultural Sociology.
